Overview
Timb Armchair is one of three models in the Timb collection that Simon Legald designed for Normann Copenhagen, next to the Chair and the Lounge Armchair.
Construction
Ash forms the frame and ash veneer the seat and back, all FSC certified (FSC-C163461), painted and lacquered. Dowel joints replace screws, and the armchair is delivered assembled.

Timb Armchair, Tan (1401618) measures W 56 x D 51.5 x H 82 cm, with SH 46 cm, and weighs 6.8 kg.
Story
Honest construction, humble silhouette
Normann Copenhagen defines Timb by its honest construction, visible dowel joints and humble silhouette. The wide, comfortable seat and backrest are made from ash veneer on a frame of solid ash.
Brown and textile in 2025
For 3daysofdesign 2025, Normann Copenhagen added a Brown colour and a textile-upholstered seat and back across the whole collection, matched tone on tone to the frame.
