Description
Overview
Terrace is Rodolfo Dordoni's rectangular outdoor dining table for Minotti. Its long natural-teak surface rests on cast-aluminium supports whose form carries the slightly retro reference described by the maker.
Construction
The 22 mm solid-teak top has a 32 mm perimeter border. Cast-aluminium-alloy legs and their top fittings are polished White; adjustable aluminium feet end in protective ABS glides.
Specifications
The representative largest size measures 350 x 115 x H74 cm. Further widths are 250 and 300 cm at the same depth and height.
Story
Past form, current process
Terrace combines shapes that refer to the past with current cast-aluminium production. Minotti characterises the result as contemporary with a slight retro influence in the frame.
Three outdoor scales
Rodolfo Dordoni developed three rectangular lengths around the same solid-teak top and White structure, allowing the table to move from compact city verandas to larger garden settings.
