Tatlin

Overview

Tatlin is Rodolfo Dordoni's bed for Minotti, and it is all about the headboard. The headboard is upholstered in saddle-hide in four colours, with detailed workmanship that recalls refined luggage in its rounded corners, its stitching and its lush thickness.

Construction

Both the headboard and the frame of the bed are built in multi-ply wood, with a padding of resilient polyurethane foam in several densities. Fibre thermally bound to white canvas covers the frame, making it soft and keeping it apart from the fabric. Two headboard panels are covered with saddle-hide, and the frame covers come off completely.

A bed that is all about the headboard

Rodolfo Dordoni gave Tatlin a headboard that carries the whole design. Two panels are covered in saddle-hide, and the workmanship recalls refined luggage: corners are rounded, seams are stitched and the thickness is lush.

The saddle-hide is offered in four colours. Under the bed, die-cast aluminium feet follow an exclusive Minotti Studio design.
