Overview
Susanna is official model 852, designed by Gabriele Mucchi in 1983. Its cushions sit within a tubular-steel carrying frame.
Frame and adjustment
Zanotta offers the frame chromium-plated, nickel-satin finished in two named options, or painted. A black-painted steel support lets the cushions rest in two positions.
Upholstery
The cushions combine polyurethane and heat-bound polyester fibre. Their removable cover may be fabric or leather; fabric-covered cushions are paired with leather 95 on the armrests.
Story
A structure for adjustable cushions
Gabriele Mucchi's 1983 Susanna separates its carrying frame from the upholstered elements. Zanotta specifies a tubular-steel structure and a distinct cushion-support frame that can be adjusted between two positions.
Cover configurations
The removable cushion cover is offered in fabric or leather. Zanotta identifies a specific relationship for the fabric version: its armrests are covered in leather 95. The manufacturer's drawing shows the model in both cushion-support positions and prints two largest vertical values, 77 and 83 cm.
