Overview

This String® System product is represented by the Living room O combination, which String Furniture describes as simple at first sight but very useful: a wall-hung combination with six shelves spread over three sections. The article list names wall panels SW5030-17-2 and shelves 5830-07-3. The combination measures W 180 × D 30 × H 50 cm. String's series page credits the wire panels to Nisse and Kajsa Strinning, 1949.

Construction

The wall panel page lists powder-coated steel (fine textured) and states that the steel is made from 100% recycled material and is recyclable. The shelf page lists veneered particleboard with a clear lacquer, gloss 5, and notes that wood is a living material whose appearance can change over time, especially in direct sunlight. The shelves fit String's wire and plex panels when shelves and panels have the same depth. EN 16121 is listed for the shelf's strength, durability and safety tests.
