Description
Overview
Storage Cabinets is a Vitra office-storage range designed by Arik Levy in 2004. Units can be fitted with shelves, hinged doors, drawers or tambour shutters and are available in several heights with widths of 800, 1000 and 1200 mm.
System construction
Cabinet units can be joined vertically, horizontally or back to back. Vitra also offers acoustic front panels intended to reduce ambient noise, and the broader Storage range includes cupboards, sideboards and a complementary locker system.

The representative two-drawer cabinet measures 800 × 420 × 795 mm. The official drawing also presents taller and wider combinations within the same system.

Storage as a reconfigurable system
Arik Levy's Storage Cabinets are presented as components that can be assembled, converted and dismantled. Different widths, heights and front types provide the stated range of cabinet arrangements.
Furniture and acoustic function
Vitra positions the Storage range for use with all of its office furniture systems. Alongside enclosed storage, acoustic front panels are intended to reduce ambient noise in open work settings.
