Still

Overview

Still has a light, fine quality that draws the eye at once. Its minimal elegance comes from linking up six identical circles in the cube, and the interplay of reflections, of full and empty spaces, carries Baroque echoes. Rodolfo Dordoni designed it.

Construction

The structure is metal 5 mm in thickness, made up of laser-cut disks, and the table has protective PVC glides. The finish is bright Gold or chrome, both applied by electroplating.

Still is described by a light, fine quality that draws attention immediately, and by a deeper dimension: minimal elegance, built by linking up six identical circles in the cube. The interplay of reflections and of full and empty spaces does not avoid Baroque echoes.

Gold or chrome by electroplating

The 5 mm metal disks are laser-cut, and the surface is a bright Gold finish or a chrome finish, both made by electroplating. Still is summed up in the words "Design beyond design".
