Story
Rediscovering the director's chair
Stanley revisits the legendary director's chair, a folding chair universally associated with Hollywood movies. Its simple lines and high-tech elegance give the type a new lease of life and modernity. In Philippe Starck's words, "The elegance of the high technology enables us to rediscover the timelessness of the director's chair."
One scissor-cross in fibreglass-reinforced polypropylene
The chair has a distinctive single scissor-cross support in fibreglass-reinforced polypropylene, paired with a seat and back in a high-performance fabric or in leather. It is suitable for a practically infinite range of uses, indoor and outdoor, domestic and contract.
