Description
Overview
Spencer Bed by Rodolfo Dordoni is sophisticated and sinuous, with soft lines that meld aesthetics and ergonomics. Its frame is covered entirely in fabric or leather and has no sharp corners. The enveloping headboard is a soft shell made more inviting by a plush quilt, and its shape supports a correct posture for reading.
Construction
The one-piece headboard and the bed frame are multiply wood assembled with metal brackets, both padded in variable-density, resilient polyurethane foam. The headboard cushion is padded with hypoallergenic fibre and has an ultra-soft polyurethane foam core. Fabric upholstery is completely removable; in leather, the headboard cover is fixed while the frame and headboard cushion covers can be removed.

Story
Sinuous lines and no sharp corners
Rodolfo Dordoni designed the Spencer Bed with soft lines that join aesthetics and ergonomics, the same principles behind the Spencer seating system. The frame, completely covered in fabric or leather, is free of sharp corners.
A headboard like a soft shell
The headboard is a soft shell, made more inviting by a plush quilt, and gives a pleasurable sense of intimacy and shelter. Its shape supports the correct posture for reading. The avant-garde Pewter feet are angled back 45° from the edges so that walking around the bed is easy.
