Overview
South is a 2023 stacking armchair by Konstantin Grcic for Magis, part of the South collection. It is suitable for outdoor use, and the collection is designed for outdoors but ideal for indoors too.
Construction
The armchair is made of steel tube and steel wire, cataphoretically treated and painted in polyester powder. It stands on pivoting feet. Woven matting for the seat and backrest is also offered.

Story
An invitation to relax
The curved and inviting lines of the South collection make a direct and unconventional invitation to relax, resulting in dynamic comfort. The collection is sinuous yet minimal, and the armchair is one of its pieces.
Matting in place of cushions
For the armchair, a woven matting for seat and backrest is available. A full matting can be secured to the shell with Velcro, as a chic and practical alternative to classic cushions. The matting is made of polyolefin and is suitable for outdoor use.
