Description
Overview
Tuffy is a swivel chair that adjusts in height, drawn by Konstantin Grcic in 2014 and part of The Wild Bunch. The seat and legs are in solid beech, and polypropylene with glass fibre added forms the back, the joint and the screw.
Construction
A screw-shaped mechanism sets the height, and the back is a T-shaped polypropylene part. Felt pads come with the chair.

42 x 47 cm (W x D), overall height 71 to 90 cm, adjustable. Five back, joint and screw colours; two beech finishes.
Story
A screw and a T-shaped back
Tuffy is characterized by a screw-shaped height-adjustment mechanism and by an ergonomically designed T-shaped back. The beech, natural or stained, is used for the seat and legs, and polypropylene with glass fibre added forms the back, joint and screw.
From 2014
Konstantin Grcic created Tuffy in 2014. Tuffy comes with beech in two finishes, and its polypropylene parts have five colours.
