Solid

Overview

Solid is a family of complements that Rodolfo Dordoni developed from a simple square volume for Minotti. The coffee tables in every size are offered in a glossy lacquered version and an open-pore ash version, and the 35 x 35 x 45 cm size also exists in saddle-hide.

Construction

The structure is boxed MDF. Glossy lacquer comes in seven colours, with a drawer interior in ash veneer and open-pore Moka lacquer, and the ash version carries the same open-pore Moka finish. Drawers use a push and pull opening system. A matt black lacquered MDF base rests on ABS levelling feet.

Cubist forms from one square

Solid is a family that starts from a simple square volume and reveals versatility through clean, simple shapes. Square forms and a cubist style give the pieces a bold personality in residential and Hospitality interiors.

A cube that is also a coffee table

In the 35 x 35 x 45 cm version Solid is an eclectic furnishing piece with a clean, sculptural presence. The saddle-hide edition is crafted with the technique of fine leather luggage-making, with stitching trimming every side along the edges.
