Description
Overview
Serpentine is an outdoor carver chair by Eléonore Nalet. The current aluminium version was relaunched in 2018 after the original steel model of 2012.
Construction and comfort
The structure is aluminium with a double layer of epoxy polyester lacquer. A polyurethane-foam seat pad is combined with polyester fibre, and three long interwoven back cushions are filled with polyester fibre. The 100% polyester outdoor-quality covers are removable.
Specifications
The exact ecru / charcoal chair measures 775 x 605 x 745 mm (W x D x H), with a 450 mm seat height, one seat and a weight of 10.5 kg.
Story
From steel to aluminium
Serpentine was first produced with a steel structure in 2012. Ligne Roset relaunched the model in 2018 with aluminium, described as light, easy to move and resistant to poor weather.
The chair in the outdoor set
The carver chair is the one-seat member of the family. Its woven arrangement of three long back cushions wraps around the aluminium frame, while removable outdoor-quality covers complete the specification.
