SEAM THREE wall light
Mark Holmes designed SEAM THREE in 2014. The exposed wall fitting is 200 × 70 × 200 mm, with a square face and no cable.
Light and finish
Its fixed LED source provides indirect, symmetrical light both upward and downward. e15 lists signal-white powder-coated aluminium and polished brass-plated aluminium, together with custom-colour availability. An external wall switch supports leading-edge and trailing-edge dimming, while the interior fixture carries an IP20 rating.
Story
Linear proportion
The manufacturer's text identifies linear simplicity and proportion as the central qualities of SEAM THREE. Mounted directly to a wall, it sends light in both vertical directions. No cable is fitted.
A later SEAM model
SEAM THREE dates from 2014. Its exposed fitting, fixed LEDs and external-wall-switch control distinguish it from the plug-in SEAM table lights.
