Overview
Sculp Coffee Table Large Brown Stained Ash is a sculptural coffee table with a flowing, organic silhouette by Simon Legald. Its shape was hand-drawn from a wish for a free and imperfect design.
Construction
The table is made of 100% solid ash stained a deep brown, and the ash is FSC-certified. Four balanced, elliptical legs carry the tabletop, and the legs and tabletop components arrive separated with an assembling manual. It weighs 18 kg.

Story
Imperfect lines on purpose
The starting point was a free and imperfect design, so the shape was drawn by hand. The imperfection appears in the dynamic contours of the tabletop and in the unconventional yet appealing elliptical legs.
Curves against straight planks
The gracefully curved shape sets up a striking contrast with the straight, carefully crafted planks of solid ash wood. The deep brown stain adds an aura of refined elegance to the wood.
