Scrigno
Edra presents Scrigno as a family of precious containers in different sizes, including tall and short forms with doors or drawers. The internal structure is lacquered wood with a special metallic paint matching the colour of the exterior coating. The exterior surfaces are a mosaic of mirror shards, making each container a unique hand-made piece. This construction gives the cabinet a strong reflective identity while retaining the practical distinction between door and drawer versions. Edra credits Fernando e Humberto Campana and records Scrigno in projects including High Line, Pavillon and Trevi Penthouse in Rome.
Story
A cabinet built as a mirror mosaic
Scrigno begins with storage variety: Edra describes containers that may be tall or short and may use doors or drawers. Around that internal function, the exterior is assembled as a mosaic of mirror shards. The pieces are made by hand and described as unique. Inside, lacquered wood receives a special metallic paint in the colour of the exterior coating. The official project list places Scrigno in residences and interiors across Italy, Austria, Russia, Switzerland, Romania and the United States.
