Overview
Scala Table H75 Ø130 cm Oak is a round table with a 130 cm top in oak, from Normann Copenhagen by Simon Legald. It does not stand on four regular table legs: a set of four columns forms its base.
Construction
The tabletop is oak and the base is powder coated steel, a durable base produced in solid steel. The table is delivered flat-packed and must be assembled with the included tools; four screws hold the top.
Specifications
Ø130 x H75 cm (Scala Table H75 Ø130 cm Oak, 604181).
Story
A column as the starting point
The column has served artists and designers as a source of inspiration for years, and Simon Legald honours its architectural role by emphasizing its form in the Scala design. Besides the visual idea, the columns also keep the table stable.
Round, and equal for everyone
Scala has a circular shape that gives equal status to everyone, whether the table is the focal point of a home dinner party, a restaurant outing or a conference meeting. At 130 cm in diameter, the structure of the material is particularly enhanced.
