Story

From the Risom Collection to outdoor use

Knoll's design-plan page says that three-quarters of a century after the Risom Collection began, selected products from it were re-engineered for outdoor use, with oiled teak frames and Sunbrella webbing for a life outside. The shop dates the lounge chair itself to 1942 and counts it among the first pieces Knoll commissioned.
