Overview
The Risom Barstool extends Jens Risom's webbed hardwood seating to bar height (666CH) and counter height (666CM). The back can be wood or woven webbing, and a teak version is made for outdoor use.
Construction
- Frame of maple or walnut with mortise-and-tenon joints, finished in catalyzed lacquer; maple can be ebonized
- Seat, and back if wanted, in woven cotton, cotton-nylon or Sunbrella straps
- An aluminum foot cap on each leg for durability

Story
Bar and counter height
Knoll's page says it now extends Jens Risom's classic designs with new bar and counter height stools, including a teak version apt for outdoor use. The shop files it with counter and barstools, in a counter-height and a bar-height version.
Back and foot caps
The page says the back is available with or without webbing, and that an aluminum foot cap enhances durability.
