Rever Bed

Overview

The Rever bed is an upholstered bed with generous proportions and a cushioned headboard that slopes gently toward the back. Poliform describes the headboard as enveloping, with a front capitonné effect and a subtly contrasting colour. The product page presents it as a bed intended to stand prominently in the bedroom.

Construction

The upholstered bed frame uses wood and wood by-products with multi-density polyurethane foam and a polyester pre-cover. The headboard is made from wood and wood by-products. The final cover is removable and can be specified in fabric or leather; the perimeter bands can be finished in leather, including Nabuk leather details.

Specifications

The page lists fixed, anatomical and folding bed-base versions; the folding version includes a storage compartment. The official dimension drawing gives overall ranges of 1975–2175 mm width, 2395–2495 mm depth and 1125 mm overall height, plus a 300 mm bed-frame height. The ranges correspond to the configurations shown in the drawing.

A tailored reference

Rodolfo Dordoni designed Rever in 2016. Poliform’s product text connects the headboard’s form to the lapel of a man’s jacket: its broad, gently sloping profile wraps the bed and gives the piece its tailored character.
