Overview
Rely HW48 and HW49 are armchairs with a plastic shell on an aluminium swivel base with castors. HW48 has the bare shell; HW49 adds a seat cushion.
Construction
Shell: polypropylene made from 100% recycled material, with glass fibre. HW49 seat: 30 mm foam on a veneer plate. The base is extruded aluminium, finished Bronzed, Black or Polished Aluminium.

Story
Two models, one shell
The &Tradition page presents HW48-HW49 as the arrival that expanded Hee Welling's Rely line, a compact armchair for long hours at work. HW48 is the shell on its own, with a seat pad available on request; HW49 is the same shell with an upholstered seat cushion.
What the fact sheet adds
The HW48 sheet lists twelve shell colours and three base finishes. For the HW49 cushion it gives 0.49 metres of cloth (roll width 140 cm), or 1 square metre of leather.
