Overview
Rely HW140 is the steel-leg lounge chair in the Rely series. Hee Welling is named as designer and the &Tradition page prints 2026; the variant on show is upholstered in the fabric Re-Wool 0218.

Construction
The legs are steel tubes, powder-coated or chromed. Above them sits a 100% recycled polypropylene shell, injection moulded, which holds a separately upholstered wooden seat shell.

Story
The lighter of two lounge bases
HW140 and HW139 share one fact sheet, one outline and the same shell. What changes is the base: HW140 stands on steel tubes where HW139 has aluminium legs, and the weight drops from 19.7 kg to 16.9 kg.
Finishes of the legs
The sheet gives three leg finishes for HW140, Black, Bronzed and Chrome. Its chrome option is where it departs from HW139, which lists polished aluminium instead.
