Reeves Bed

Overview

Reeves Bed by Rodolfo Dordoni pairs an enveloping headboard with constructive details drawn from fine tailoring, giving classic shapes a contemporary edge. The tailoring shows in the 45° joints of the footboard and in the stitching that embellishes the headboard and the footboard. Soft and enveloping, the bed gives a feeling of snug intimacy.

Construction

Reeves stands on a self-supporting frame of very thick plywood that houses pocket springs beneath a layer of CFC-free, high-resilience polyurethane foam. A metal headboard with a fireproof polyurethane foam coating is grafted onto the frame, which makes the bed simple to assemble. Fabric and leather covers both come off entirely.
