Description
Overview
Rodolfo Dordoni designed the Rays tables around a thin top and an ethereal structure. The top is available in an irregular or a rounded organic shape, in marble or wood, and the tables come in different heights and top widths.
Construction
The top is Zebrino marble or Stone Grey marble, each 20 mm thick and beveled, or 25 mm contoured MDF faced with brushed oak veneer, finished in Moka open-pore lacquer. The Stone Grey marble carries a transparent glossy polyester painted finish. The radiused base is made of round metal rods in a polished Pewter colour, arranged like spokes and welded in the center, with protective Hytrel soft non-scratch rubber glides.

Story
A thin thread from the floor
The radiused base is a bundle of metal rods that fold and rise vertically to support the top. With its slender structure, its different heights and its various top widths, the table appears as a thin thread emerging from the floor.
Materials of the top
From the Pewter-coloured finishing of the base to the precious shades of the top, the materials highlight the firm identity of Rays. The top is offered in Zebrino marble, Stone Grey marble or Moka lacquered brushed oak, in an irregular or rounded organic shape.
