Construction
The desk combines an aluminium-and-steel support frame, glass top, hard-polyurethane lower top and MDF wood-fibre back panel. Leather covers the shaped surfaces; the ferrules are thermoplastic.

The official drawing gives 120 × 54 × 84 cm, with a second vertical value of 73 cm.
Story
A transparent work surface
The transparent top distinguishes the desk from the other Quiet Lines pieces. It keeps the lower leather shelf visible and gives stored objects a deliberate place within the composition.
