Description
Bench and shelf
Quiet Lines bench combines a seat with a lower shelf intended for blankets, clothing or objects. The official sheet describes the piece as adaptable to different settings and uses.
Construction
The support frame uses aluminium and steel. The seat is an MDF wood-fibre panel, the lower top is hard polyurethane, and the cover is leather. Thermoplastic ferrules finish the frame.
QL140P
The drawing for QL140P gives 140 × 45 × 49 cm; a second vertical value of 40 cm is also printed.
Story
Quiet Lines
B&B Italia presents Quiet Lines as Gabriel Tan's research into serenity. The official sheet identifies the writing desk, bench, bedside table and screen as members of the same collection, with straight and curved lines forming the shared graphic language.
Tactile surfaces
The sheet attributes comfort and sound-softening qualities to the leather-covered curved surfaces. On this bench, that treatment extends across the seat and lower storage level.
