Woodworking and contemporary forms
The Kartell page for P/Wood describes the chair as characterised by woodworking, combining timeless elegance with contemporary forms. Its opening line speaks of brand-new rotating armchairs on wheels as the latest addition to the armchair collection, while the sheet lists the fixed chair together with a swivel version.

Two wood finishes
The data sheet offers the chair in Basic Veneer, codes 4911 and 5911, and in Slatted Ash, codes 4912 and 5912. The swivel version, code 5926, appears in Basic Veneer only, on spokes of chrome-plated or painted die-cast aluminium.
