Overview
The Pukka Armchair is the one-place seat of Yabu Pushelberg's Pukka range for Ligne Roset. The English page prints H 710 mm, W 1,060 mm, D 1,030 mm, a seat height of 360 mm and 19.6 kg.
Construction
Range text on the page (the same block appears on every Pukka page) gives the base as high resilience polyurethane foam at 48 kg/m3 with foams of other densities, and the back as Bultex foam covered by an ultra-flexible foam layer.
Specifications
The armchair is offered in 10 fabrics and 76 colours, all chosen for their stretch.
Story
A single seat in the Pukka range
The armchair is part of a group with a medium settee and two footstools. It is the one-place seat of the group.
Stitching, foam and tension
The stitching detail, the ultra-flexible foams and the tension of the lines demanded a perfect piece of upholstery, possible only with Ligne Roset's stretchiest fabrics. It names the Gentle fabric, a wool stretch velvet, as the one that clothes the piece perfectly.
