Description
Overview
Prince "Cord" Outdoor is an armchair for outdoor spaces, designed by Rodolfo Dordoni. Its exposed shell is made of a woven fibre in 3 colours, and its lines are underlined by a cast aluminium base.
Construction
- Shell: metal treated by sand blasting, an exterior zinc primer and polished Pewter polyester powder coating, then covered in braided cord of 8 mm Ø
- Cushions: seat and backrest cushions of high-resilience polyurethane foam and eco-friendly, water-repellent fibre; the covers can be removed completely
- Base: molded cast aluminium, painted for outdoor use in polished Pewter or in White; black protective SEBS glides

Story
Fifties American modernism
Rodolfo Dordoni gave the Prince "Cord" Outdoor armchair lines that take their inspiration from Fifties American modernism. The aluminium base, made with a sophisticated die-casting process, underlines those lines, and it is painted in glossy Pewter or in White.
An exposed woven shell
The shell is exposed and composed of a unique woven fibre in three colours. Fully removable backrest and seat cushions complete the armchair.
