Story
The first portable lamp
Porta is the first portable lamp in the Normann Copenhagen lighting collection, and it was launched in 2021 as a design by Simon Legald. Its cylinder base and the elongated dome shape of the shade are characterised by rounded, organic design cues that contribute to an aesthetic cohesiveness.
A shade that turns
The shade is designed for pleasant, atmospheric lighting in smaller settings. When it is turned at a 90-degree angle it takes up less space. Being cordless and lightweight, the lamp moves easily from room to room.
