Story

Landscape translated into furniture

Vitra connects the name Polder to Dutch land reclaimed and divided into low fields. Jongerius translates that horizontal idea through unequal ends, a long profile and coordinated changes in weave.

Four complete palettes

Rather than a single uniform cover, Vitra offers four predefined textile compositions. Natural-material buttons with contrasting pins mark the cushions and reinforce the deliberately varied surface.
