Story

For the Academy

The Academy needed a number of tables for lecturers and students, and Kjærholm designed the PK52 for it. The manufacturer says the desk established his reputation for uniting traditional craftsmanship and industrial design.

A new table structure

Drawing on his cabinetmaking experience, Kjærholm developed a table structure that showed his mastery of steel and wood.
