Description
Overview
Pilotis Ceramic Outdoor is a cylindrical side table by Rodolfo Dordoni. Its pure geometric form recalls the architectural supports of Rationalism, and the one-size table serves indoor and open-air living areas.
Construction
The ceramic body is produced with an artisanal process in which it is fired again after vitrification. Below the ceramic, the stainless-steel plate has a matt-black varnish; protective floor glides are black felt.
Specifications
The official drawing gives Ø27 x H45 cm. Supplied 15 mm-high ABS foot pads are intended for use over a rug.
Story
A small architectural cylinder
The Pilotis family takes its name from architectural supports. In this ceramic version, the cylindrical solid becomes a compact occasional table with a glossy, colour-led surface.
One size, eight ceramic colours
The technical sheet lists Tundra, Sunflower, White, Forest Green, Coffee, Plum, Rust and Lime. The form and size remain constant while the ceramic colour changes.
