Story
Two interlocking curves
The Molteni&C page describes a base of two opposing, curved structures with soft, flowing shapes that interlock to create a dynamic visual effect. It says this sculptural form adds movement and character, while the top has a seamless polymorphic design.
Edge and base in one finish
According to the page, the finish of the edge is echoed in the base, in glossy lacquer or polished steel, so that a strong visual continuity runs through the piece. The page adds that Pénélope can stand against a wall or in the centre of a room.
