Story
From sofa system to bed
PARDIS was designed by Philipp Mainzer in 2007. e15 describes it as a natural extension of the SHIRAZ sofa, transferring the upholstered language into a bed that can be adapted through headboard proportions.
Extension as a functional niche
The headboard may finish flush or extend by 450 mm to the right, left or both sides. e15 explains that the extension creates a niche for named bedside tables, while different bed widths and headboard heights support multiple configurations.
