PALO floor light
Michael Raasch's 2014 floor version of PALO is an interior plug-in light with a vertically adjustable head. It measures 320 mm in diameter and 1400 mm high.
Construction and light
Powder-coated steel and aluminium are paired with an oiled Nero Marquina marble base. The diffuser sends light directly downward from two permanently fitted 3 W LEDs. A manual switch dims the light, and the 2600 mm PVC cable accompanies an IP30, appliance-class-2 fitting.
Story
Reading from floor level
The manufacturer describes PALO as a flexible floor light for reading and lounging. Michael Raasch keeps the cord visible, giving a mobile line to the otherwise controlled geometry.

Material counterweight
A 23 mm marble plate anchors the tall upright. The lamp head moves in height while retaining a 35 mm projection, allowing the same circular component to occupy different positions along the stem.
