Description

Overview

Pagoda is a coffee table designed by David Lopez Quincoces in 2026 for Living Divani. It has three stacked levels and works on the principle of overlapping and shifting tops: distinct levels that intersect and balance each other.

Construction

The table has a fixed top in the middle and an upper and a lower sliding top. The three tabletops are 50 mm thick MDF with a bevelled edge, lacquered Scratch-resistant Matt Black or Glossy in one of five RAL colors, and the top surface is always veneered in Canaletto walnut, charcoal-dyed oak or Stone Oak® with a water-based finish. The base frame is MDF in Scratch-resistant Lacquered Matt Black. The tabletops are attached via plastic supports and sliding guides in extruded aluminium, and plastic tips form the floor support.

Specifications

Sizes: 100x100 cm and 100x160 cm.

Story

Stacked and shifted

Pagoda by David Lopez Quincoces stacks three levels, with a fixed top in the middle and sliding tops above and below it. The tops overlap and shift as distinct levels that intersect and balance each other.

Edge colors and veneers

The edges of the tops take Scratch-resistant Lacquered Matt Black or one of five glossy RAL colors, and the tops are veneered in Canaletto walnut, charcoal-dyed oak or Stone Oak®.
