Description
Overview
The Oliver family of tables by Rodolfo Dordoni is inspired by the visual effect of a metal stem that melts into a diffused flow. The base evolves seamlessly from a thin tube into a circular base, offering a continuous glossy surface, and the tables carry a top in Calacatta or Stone Grey marble.
Construction
The base is a metal tube, 35 mm in diameter, in a polished Black-Nickel finish, or varnished polished Pewter colour or polished Bronze colour with an anti-fingerprint finish. The lower plate has the same finish and the upper plate is varnished matt Black, and protective felt slides are fitted. The top is Calacatta marble or Stone Grey marble, 20 mm thick and beveled, or contoured MDF, also 20 mm thick, in brushed ash (Moka open-pore lacquer) or reconstituted Palisander (Dark Brown stain, matt polyester finish).
Specifications
The tops are 20 mm thick in every finish.
Story
From thin tube to circular base
The Black-Nickel, varnished Bronze or Pewter colour structure follows a visual idea, a metal stem melting into a diffused flow. The base turns from a thin tube into a circular base, a gesture dear to the Modern Movement.
A continuous glossy surface
The circular base offers a continuous glossy surface under a precious top in Calacatta or Stone Grey marble. The piece interprets the essence of classic contemporaneity characteristic of the Minotti code.
