Story
A top set off-centre
The Molteni&C page says the top is positioned asymmetrically and articulated with two carved wooden trays, the central one upholstered in saddle leather for a tactile contrast. The aim is a contemporary product with essential characteristics and refined aesthetic and technical details that show the woodworking expertise Molteni&C is devoted to maintaining.
Grooved legs
Both texts describe the legs as made with a complex three-dimensional woodworking technique, with grooves carved on three sides. This adds a sculptural feel and visual lightness, and the result is a good balance of essential style and elegance, modern and linear yet rich in cabinet-making details.
