Overview
Nena Stool is a 2022 design by Lanzavecchia + Wai. Zanotta emphasises the visual contrast between its lightweight frame and the generous contours of the upholstered seat and back.
Construction
The varnished-steel frame supports polyurethane padding with a removable fabric or leather cover. Its footrest is clad in satin-finished stainless steel.
Specifications
Two heights are available. The unlabelled drawing prints 56 and 52 cm on horizontal guides and paired vertical figures of 98/88 and 77/67 cm. The taller version stores 98 cm as the largest vertical value; the axes are not named.

Nena translated to stool height
The stool retains the Nena design's open relationship between its upholstered back and seat, raising the composition onto longer steel legs and adding a satin-finished footrest. The exposed structure preserves the contrast described on the product page.
Two levels
Zanotta offers the design in two heights to address different counter conditions. Both versions keep the same rounded upholstery and removable outer cover.
