Story
Cube at sofa scale
Nelson used the Cube design to place pliable seating within a disciplined wooden perimeter. The sofa is offered in two lengths and carries the same joinery, cushion treatment, and 1968 date as the armchair.
A daytime living room
Herman Miller connects the design with Nelson's idea that work could happen in a daytime living room with less tension, positioning the sofa between residential and workplace settings.
