Morrison

Overview

Morrison is a system of containers by Rodolfo Dordoni for Minotti. The horizontal unit described here measures 270 x 50 x 60 cm (W x D x H) and stands on the 12 cm wooden floor base.

Construction

The structure is 20 mm MDF with 45 degree assembly, in open-pore oak veneer. Door fronts are wood, 30 mm thick, with a metal handle in polished Pewter. The floor base is wooden, 12 cm high, in a glossy Pewter lacquer. A beveled edge running around the perimeter defines the line of the doors.

A system built around custom-made solutions

The Morrison system of containers escapes from the idea of mass production and echoes the custom-made concept, adding new elements and finishes to develop a collection with a myriad of solutions that extend its use to all the rooms of the house. The base comes in three versions: on the floor, or at heights of 12 and 25 cm.

Oak, lacquer and leather

The oak open-pore finish in Tobacco stain was added to the Moka one. Doors and drawer fronts come lined in leather or glossy lacquered, and one version has all-oak Tobacco doors on a satin-finish Mud lacquered structure.
