Description

Overview

Morgan Marble reinterprets the traditional refectory table through a contemporary composition and a carefully drawn perimeter. The circular top is paired with a diamond-section support structure, while a revolving Lazy Susan is available as an optional central element.

Construction

The 10 mm marble top is contoured and backed by a load-bearing underlayer of stratified MDF and aluminium. Its perimeter is sheathed in a satin-finish Bronze-colour metal sheet. The base has a load-bearing metal internal structure and two MDF panels, covered by satin-finished laser-cut bronzed metal sheets that are bent and welded.

Specifications

The official technical sheet shows a 200 cm diameter table with an overall height of 74.5 cm. The optional Lazy Susan for this version has a 100 cm diameter. The top finish is Calacatta marble; the product page also notes that the handcrafted satin finish can produce slight tonal variation in the base.

Story

A contemporary refectory table

Morgan Marble takes the familiar refectory-table idea into a more sculptural direction. Minotti describes its design as a contemporary reinterpretation supported by sophisticated formal solutions and luxury materials.

A shaped top and central service element

The contoured circular top, slender diamond-section supports and satin-finished perimeter establish the table's visual identity. On request, the Lazy Susan uses the same marble finish and sits partially recessed at the centre, functioning either as a service element or as a decorative detail.
