Milton Nightstand

Overview

The Milton "Nightstand" by Rodolfo Dordoni is one of the squared items that complete the Milton family, fitted with two drawers or, in another version, an open compartment. The drawers version measures 55 x 55 x 50 cm.

Construction

The structure is MDF faced with oak veneer that is brushed and given an open-pore Moka lacquer. Two push and pull drawers glide on Blumotion runners and open from the front, with an interior finish that matches the exterior. The top, 15 mm thick, is either Zebrino marble or pâte de verre in black; it is contoured and partly recessed, so 5 mm of it shows. Beneath, a contoured MDF base lined with satin-finish metal sheet varnished Bronze rests on adjustable matt black metal feet with ABS glides.

A squared item in the Milton family

Within the Milton family, Rodolfo Dordoni completes the range of side tables with squared items that offer either drawers or a void space. A sheet of satin-finished metal covers the internal surface of the void space.

Moka oak, stone or glass, Bronze metal

On the nightstand the Moka-lacquered brushed oak frame carries a top of Zebrino marble or of black glass paste (pâte de verre). Under the frame, the satin metal lining is varnished Bronze and the adjustable feet are matt black.
