Me-Time

Overview

Me-Time is a sofa system by García Cumini for Moroso, from 2025. It is made of sofas and modular elements that connect into compositions through a removable interlocking system, and its covers are removable.

Construction

The seat structure combines a wooden frame with a steel structure and polypropylene slats, and the seat cushions are made in differentiated-density polyurethane. The backrest is made of polyurethane foam. The feet are varnished solid ash, screwed to the structure, in two finishes.

Soft volumes from familiar archetypes

Me-Time is a project that grows out of research joining design, emotion and memory. Its generous, flowing lines recall familiar archetypes and reinterpret them through controlled deformation, a softness that extends beyond boundaries while staying balanced.

Details that carry the form

The armrests settle naturally into the seat, and the surfaces are shaped by gentle ripples. The volumes melt like fabric draped over a structure, and the chaise longue has a cushion that extends beyond its formal limits. Me-Time is the centerpiece of a domestic landscape in which comfort takes the lead.
