Story
Contrast of geometry and material
The Molteni&C page describes Maylis as a study in contrast and refinement. Its top is smooth and polished and meets an architectural base of half-moon aluminium legs, and the structure creates an ever-changing visual effect in which light and shadow accentuate depth. The curved top offers a constantly changing perspective from every point of view.
A wood counterpart
Maylis Wood is a warm counterpoint, with softer, more organic forms: a rounded top and three sculptural legs that connect to the base. This wood version completes the Maylis coffee table collection and is characterized by rounded shapes.
