Description

Overview

Rodolfo Dordoni designed the Mattia coffee tables for Minotti in round, rectangular and square formats, with several sizes and heights. A recessed top sits on Black-Nickel steel legs.

Construction

Three top versions are offered: Calacatta marble 16 mm thick, Black pâte de verre glass, 15 mm, or ash-veneered MDF 60 mm thick. The marble and glass tops sit in a honeycomb MDF frame with an ash veneer and open-pore Licorice lacquer, while the wooden top has no frame. Hytrel glides protect the floor.

Specifications

Overall size: 160 x 100 x 28 cm (rectangular coffee table).

Story

Seventies volumes seen again

Minotti describes the Mattia coffee tables as characterised by clean lines. They reinterpret, in a contemporary way, volumes and a design sign of the early Seventies, and they carry the same protruding steel feet that distinguish the Mattia seats.

A recessed top in three materials

Three materials are offered for the recessed top: Calacatta marble, glass in Black pâte de verre, and brushed ash. When the top is wood, the whole structure of the top is wood, so there is no separate frame.
