Story
From the seating system
The Molteni&C page describes the Marteen coffee tables as an extension of the sculptural language of the Marteen seating system. It says each table can work independently or be combined with others to form layered compositions, a dynamic and contemporary expression of individual style.
Wood meets pewter
The design emphasizes material contrast: upper surfaces in a range of wood finishes meet lower pewter sections, an interplay between warm, tactile textures and metallic elegance. The whole is a multifunctional system of tops and storage units, with alternating full and empty volumes.
