Circular multipurpose seat
Regis is Vincent Van Duysen's compact upholstered piece for Molteni&C. The brand presents it as extra seating, a footrest and a pouf, with a circular top over a three-upright base.
Construction
The structure is painted aluminium with plastic ferrules and a burnished-metal finish. A plywood seat frame carries variable-density polyurethane and bonded velveteen made with polyester fibre and cotton.

Story
One form, several roles
Regis condenses additional seating, footrest and pouf functions into one small footprint. Molteni&C also presents it as a connecting element between larger upholstered pieces.
Three uprights between two circles
The base joins circular upper and lower frames through three polished vertical members. That repeated geometry gives the pouf a clearly defined structure beneath the padded seat.
