Story

Inside the cover

Under the cover of the Mafalda armchair, injected polyurethane foam wraps an internal steel frame. The armchair stands on an oak base, and Patricia Urquiola designed it in 2013 for the Armchairs section of Moroso.

Oak tones and cover versions

The oak base is shown in natural, natural oil and black. Fabric or leather forms the cover in both versions, stitched horizontally over polyurethane foam in one and left without stitching in the other. The covers are fixed.
